Cookie policy

This policy describes cookies and similar browser technologies used on pickorasunnypatch.com, why they are used and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser when a website is visited. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kit identifiers. They can support essential operation, remember settings or provide information about site use. First-party technologies are set by the site being visited; third-party technologies are provided by another organisation.

2. Your choice

Essential storage is used because it is necessary to record privacy choices and support security. Optional analytics and functional categories remain off unless you select “Accept All” or enable them through Preferences. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to our articles. You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer at any time. A changed selection replaces the previous setting for this browser.

3. Technologies we may use

Category / nameProviderPurposeTypical duration

Functional: interface preferencespickorasunnypatch.comRemembers non-essential display or content preferences.Up to 12 months

The current static site does not load an optional analytics library by default. The table explains categories that may be activated after consent if such services are introduced. We will update this policy when the technologies materially change. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing information.

4. Analytics

If enabled, analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic, popular articles and technical performance. We seek to minimise collected information and avoid using analytics to make decisions about individual visitors. Analytics providers may receive truncated or full IP addresses depending on configuration, device and browser details, page addresses and event timestamps. We require appropriate contractual and transfer safeguards where a processor operates internationally.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let you inspect, block and delete cookies through privacy or site-data settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent preference storage, meaning the banner can reappear. For Chrome, open Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Site data. For Firefox, open Settings, Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data. For Safari, open Settings, Privacy, then Manage Website Data. For Microsoft Edge, open Settings, Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data.

You can also use private browsing, configure browsers to clear site data on exit or delete data specifically for pickorasunnypatch.com. Browser menus change over time, so consult official help pages for current instructions: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge.

6. Global privacy signals

Where legally required and technically applicable, we recognise valid browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control for activities treated as a sale or sharing of personal information. We do not currently sell personal information or use cross-context behavioural advertising.

7. Updates and contact

We may revise this policy when our technology, providers or legal obligations change. The latest revision date appears above. Questions about cookies or personal information may be sent to our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] or Sunny Patch Intelligence Ltd, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. See our Privacy policy for information about rights, retention and complaints.
